A brand new robotic succeeds the place different machines have failed at metamorphosis. By slipping into and stripping off varied origami our bodies, this cube-shaped robotic good points new capabilities on the fly. Designing the origami exoskeletons that permit these bots to shape-shift took some “good engineering,” says Antoine Cully, a roboticist at Imperial School London not concerned within the research.
